  • Bike Scavenger Hunt

    Meet at Bike Hub Waiheke,
    1 Mako Street, Oneroa

    Get ready for the second Waiheke Bike Scavenger Hunt! It's the perfect school holiday activity, so pump up your tyres and get your sleuthing powers on! Come to the Bike Hub at 1pm to become part of a team - You'll be finding your way around Oneroa by bike, solving puzzles and conundrums along the way. This is a free, family-oriented school holiday event. We'll have spot prizes - and heaps of fun! As always, get to Bike Hub a bit early if you need help with a quick bike fix, and the mechanics will assist you in learning how to do it yourself!

    A banger of a Sunday session! Who knew our awesome bike mechanics were also vinyl collectors and DJs?

    You've been saving your bike maintenance for just the right time, and that time is now. Come join in the vibe and hone your bike-fixing skills while you listen to the tunes of vinyl DJs MANO PACO and MICSOBRUNO. Dub, punk and bikes? Punky Reggae party at the Hub!

    Come and delight in the tales of bike adventurers, bike enthusiasts, bike raconteurs and the bike-curious!

    Have an adventure to share? Get in touch now! The format is 20 slides displayed 20 seconds each for a 6 min 40 sec presentation, so a quick show & tell that never gets boring! As long as it involves bicycles, it can be about your daily commute, or your round the world trip, or about how you met the love of your life on a bike. We love to see and hear all about it!

  • Bike Commuter Treats

    Today we celebrate all of you who ride your bicycle to work!

    Ride your bike to the Matiatia ferry and pick up a treat and a coffee voucher. If you work in Oneroa, no worries! Cycle down for your treats and cheer other cyclists as they hoon down for the boat. No worries about parking and a smile on your face because you rode you bike today! Thanks Waiheke Local Board for your support.

    7:40am Surfdale Hall Reserve,
    We'll ride to school together on foot path. Bring your parents! Special waffles for riders at Breakfast Club, and a Bike Hub Mechanic Pop-up at school from 8am -8:45am

    7:45am meet at the Rock on the empty section corner of Ostend and Whakarite Roads.

  • Labour Day Loop Ride

    Let’s do the loop!

    Meet at the reserve next to the RSA to go on an epic ride to discover Waiheke’s eastern end.

    We stop for lunch at Man O’ War, so bring your wallet or a picnic. Bring a charger to charge up your bike if you’re battery-powered - there's first-come-first-serve space to charge your battery! The hills are legendary, the gravel gravelly, the views unparalleled.

    Test your legs and meet new bike friends!
